View from Below - View from Above
I like the way the white lighthouse stands out in this picture. It's all alone and dominates the barren landscape.
In contrast, the next picture shows how a certain tall building can dominate a completely different landscape:

I like the lighthouse but that second one makes my legs go funny... I've got little appreciation for heights, even when I know that the glass isn't going anywhere. I do like the way that the shadow is lined up though, turning the billboard into a flag for the tower. Was it chance that you were there at that time, or was that planned?
I'd love to say that I waited fro just the right time, etc., but it was simply by chance.
